Angel Guardian no longer exists, our doors where closed in 1974. We were located on the North Side of Chicago at 2001 W. Devon Ave. (Rogers Park area)
The Website that you are accessing is for the enjoyment of Formers If you are looking for donations for your orphanage or cause, this may not be the place you need to be.
If you have resided, worked or are a descendant of a former, you are welcome to join the fun. For those of you who are visiting, please feel free to check our various links of interest.
Be courteous to the other posters and respect their right to post. If you do not agree with the post, email them or politely inform them of your objections.
Profanity is not an acceptable post and harassment by any poster will be dealt with by the administrator, notify the administrator of the harassment. Do not take it upon yourself to admonish any other poster.
Advertising is not allowed unless you have written approval of the administrator, otherwise the ad will be removed.
If you have stories, photos or a webpage regarding your stay at the home, that you would like to share with us, please contact the Administrator.
Your name and cottage number could help to identify you to other formers. Also the year of your High School graduation, whether you graduated from the "Home" or another High School. This will help your classmates identify you.
If you would like your Birthday and/or Wedding Anniversary to be announced you can contact Marie C. (Our Den Angel) via our Message Board.
Although most of the cottage are gone, today Misericordia Heart of Mercy occupies the old A.G.O. grounds. Misericordia cares for children and adults with mild to profound developmental disabilities. If you would like to take a tour of what is left of A.G.O. Misericordia has always been very accommodating when it comes to allowing formers to visit.
